I fully agree with Frank D. and his comment from a year ago. What motivates a business to be so hostile about legitimate returns? (I know that customers abuse the privilege.) But I was returning a defective product--and the salesperson agreed it was defective, as were all of the products. (I'd called the manufacturer, Mohawk Home Products, but they refused to help, insisting that I return to the store.) The salesperson said he would ""have to call the company"" and that since it (True Value Hardware) was located in Chicago, he would have to wait until they opened at 9:00 a.m. CDT. He took my name and phone number. I never heard back from him. How does a store like this expect to stay in business? Buyer beware! Cavet emptor!
