He checked the A/C unit, listened to the strange noise, knew immediately what was not working correctly. He took the old one out and put the new one in (after he went and retrieved it from the truck that is). It was the dual capacitor.Member Comments: It went great. He was at our house within 1.5 hours of us calling frantically (at 5pm) saying our A/C had gone out. He was polite and courteous (wore booties over his shoes inside the house). He offered us a maintenance package that we accepted because we had been thinking of getting one anyway and we got a discounted rate because of the service call. He accepted our angie?s list coupon with no problem. They called two days later to set up the first maintenance appointment. And we have a one hour window for when they are to show up. That is truly unheard of for service calls and I appreciate it. We are very pleased with everything so far.
