I enlisted in the services of the Ontario office to "lease up" my home, meaning after the tenant moved in, I would handle the management responsiblities. Every possible error has been made from the lease agreement, to the inspection process, to mailing the mail box key (really stupid, how can tenants get the key?) to the absolute failure of properly verifying the tenants factual and current income. The tenant has been in my home one month, I am currently preparing a 3 day eviction notice. Had Renttoday been more concerned with verfication of income rather than getting their commission, I would not be in this situation today. I WILL NOT reccomend Renttoday to anyone in need of renting their property or needing to find a rental property.
