*Caution* BEWARE. Horrible Customer Service. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth I am willing to pay the $200 again for the all day passes, all you can eat pizza/ Salad, drinks, and all the rides and games you could want for a family of 9 at another Fun center in Draper that has batting cages and go karts before I spend another $60 at the NickelCade. But this review is not about the business in Draper. Let's get to it. I am on a family vacation from another state, we came here to enjoy a nice day at the arcade while we beat the heat. This arcade may be cheap to enter and play but the machines that counts tickets stops counting and still takes your tickets. (Maybe they think kids won't know any better) Kids are smarter than that. Also when you try to get some assistance with the ticket machine the ever so rude attendant named Sheldon will point at the sign and tell you to read it. He talks to you like you are dumb and then walks away before you are even done with your questions. After I decided to try the machine again it started doing the same thing. I went and got Sheldon again and he said if you don't like this machine there is another one on the other side. This was his solution. So with all my faith lost in these amazing machines that are precise and never miss a beat and are error free I chose not to and hand counted my tickets, because according to their signage it reads use at own risk. I was not willing to risk another 400-500 tickets with a machine that obviously doesn't operate correctly. I feel if the ticket machines worked most of the time there would be no need to post signs and to have the attendant point it out every time you ask a question about the machine. SO when I took my 680 tickets that had not been short changed by the ticket machine to the counter and showed the attendant that they were counted out in unbroken strips of 10 and stacked nicely for him he told me I need to take it to the machine and have them (short counted) counted. I told him I was not going to do that because I was only gonna get ripped off again. He said he couldn't help me. I would have liked a customer service number to actually call in and complain about the lousy service and rudeness that came from one attendant. If I was the business owner of this arcade I would hire a secret shopper and clean house of rude employees like Sheldon. I am a 34 year old man, not a child and for him to talk to anyone even a child or an adult the way he talked to me was border line abusive. I had to mind my manners and walk away from the situation before I ruined my family outing with an out burst. I am above that and do not like making scenes. So I handed the tickets over to the kids and walked away before I showed my children how a rude person can upset make their Dad a jerk. I will not sink that low and I do not wish to upset the other patrons on my account. As Sheldon is going to talk down to them and have his ""I am in power"" mini trip and start abusing. SO if you do enter the Arcade Enter at own Risk and they need to post a sign about how rude the employees are and how crappy the customer service is and have an attendant point it out before you pay to use the facilities.
