I am deeply disappointed by my recent order of a specialized piece of Huntington House Furniture and the shipping process to Arizona. Although Tiffany was pleasant and ordered us the correct sofa, I was told it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. Three months later we received our sofa. During this process we were given the run around about when it would ship. No one could accurately predict when the sofa would arrive, and there was a lack of concern for follow up. Mr. Jernigan and others we talked to seemed to lack an understanding of our frustration. We encourage him to use other shippers, but they acted as if we were being unreasonable in asking for either a shipping date or a refund of the sofa's price. When it arrived no warning was given, luckily my husband was able to leave work for the delivery. Delivery crew broke a vase and the sofa was wet. Again, no follow up or concern from Jernigans. Misleading expectations, lack of ability to resolve issues, and no empathy or customer follow up should be a strong consideration for long distance buyers of Jernigan Furniture. JILL
