I rented a house through Pacific Islands Reservations. The house was perfect and we had a great week in Kahala in Honolulu. What was not so perfect was the company's restrictive payment practices. Only accepting direct credit to their bank meant we paid bank fees from an Australian bank as well as a poor exchange rate. They held a security deposit of US$1,000 of which they deducted their bank fees and sent me a cheque in US dollars which I paid further fees to have transferred to AU $. I'd encourage you to use a company that was more considerate of the options open to their overseas customers
