Will not return. My husband bought me a ""membership"" for 3 months. The first time I called to find out when it expired the young man who answered stated that they did not expire for 5 years due to new legislation signed by President Obama. He never asked my name to check my account & seemed in a hurry to get off the phone. I had my first massage & it was just okay, the therapist smelled like cigarette smoke & alcohol. When I checked out the person at the front desk asked me 3 times if I tipped my therapist. I did, of course, but not sure how that is of concern to her. The second massage was okay as well, it started 15 mins. late. Had that been me who was late I am sure I would have been charged or canceled by Massage Envy. The therapist talked the entire time about her personal problems. When I called to book my third & final massage I was told it had expired. I spoke to a manager who told me that I used the wrong wording when I asked about my gift card expiring. She said that my husband should have known because he signed the terms. I understand that there are rules to their ""gift cards or memberships"", but had this been explained to me correctly when I initially called it would not have been an issue. I got the impression by the quick canned response from the manager that this happens frequently to people. more
