I am a repeat customer of Action Moving, and this is the 14th time I have used them. It started out with a grumpy driver complaining that the move would take a whole day. They did manage to move everything in one day, but the driver refused to set up my washer and dryer like they were supposed to, saying "I don't care if it's on the floor, I ain't doing it!" I was very surprised because I am a repeat customer and I know that Jeff had instructed the driver to give me some special treatment because of that.
The three-man crew that came didn't cover my new carpet floors with plastic, nor did they put pads on the bottom of my furniture. As a result, my furniture is a bit dinged up and my brand new hardwood floor is all scratched and scuffed up. By the end of the day, they were just really tired and not as careful. I don't entirely fault them because it had been a hot day and this was a huge job for three people.
I really love Action Moving, but our experience this time was really not as good as previous. We worked with Jeff's dad before and I think that he might have run a tighter ship.
