After trying so many Chinese restaurants all over the state, I was blown away by the atmosphere of Butterfly. No tacky hanging things or ugly calendars, just elegant surroundings in good taste. (Almost impossible to believe that this was once a Howard Johnson's!) The immaculate, huge aquarium lends a quiet dignity to this place which is welcoming to families as to romantic couples. The grand piano, often beautifully played by the owner, lends a nice touch of elegance.
