My son had an appointment last month that I made several months ago. It was for a crown. We went in & 2 HOURS LATER, they come out to get me & say his CLEANING went well. I was like WTH?? They changed the appointment without telling me. Their ""excuse"" was that he was overdue for a cleaning & the don't do major work without a cleaning first. I was FURIOUS! Not just because of changing the appointment, but what the hell took 2 HOURS????? I couldn't believe they just changed the appointment without telling me. We are talking HEALTH here...you cannot change health-related work without permission!! What if it had been the other way around???\r

This is not the first time I have had problems. Previously, both of my kids had cleaning appointments at the same time. They took them back on time. At the 1.5 hour time mark, I had the front desk person check on my kids. She came back & said ""oh, they are about to start on them."" Again, I was FURIOUS! They had been sitting in the back for an hour & a half with NOTHING being done!!! I asked my daughter (who is 10) what she was doing the whole time. She said she was just sitting in the room. She said the doctors/assistants would come in & get stuff, but didn't talk to her. So she basically just sat there for 1.5 hrs. \r

And don't get me started on the billing. Before GE took over, I had no problems with quotes, billing, etc. Since I have been given quotes, then received bills for $400+ dollars AFTER the work. Their ""excuse"" is that the quotes are just that....not a guarateed amount. Why is it that I have never had a problem before?? And I haven't changed insurance companies?? Their rates haven't changed either.\r

I am sooo over this place & we are taking our business elsewhere! I would recommend everyone else stay away from Great Expressions!!
