Quite lousy gym for a price you pay. Don't believe people who say it's similar to equinox - it's lie. It's not even match to NYSC. Floors sometimes dirty, all machines at least 5 years old, and some machines are very very old and useless (looks ok when you join, but later you notice half of them almost nobody use), some weights adjustments don't work - so you can't add 5 pounds, you have to choose next big plate. I don't know why it's the best gym in Astoria (and it's not the best in queens how previous reviewer claimed). Even if it's the case it's quite bad compare to what you can find in Manhattan even for the same price. I complained to management about equipment, and they didn't do anything (I guess they think worn wires don't need to be replaced until they are torn). At the end of the day guys start to wash floors and you either have to inhale detergent they use or leave... People who go there are regular folks so don't expect that people are sorted out by price - same screams and phone calls as pretty much everywhere else. It's ok as place to work out, not very bad, but OK not awesome. I think most of reviews here are fake and made by gym owners.
