We ordered custom steel full glass replacement doors for our home. Although they look beautiful, after the first big driving rain storm, we found water puddling inside our front door, in fact there was water all inside the front track, dripping onto the floor. I have photos to prove it. They claimed NO responsibility but could never explain how the water got inside the house.

With regards to the concerns explained by our customer in this review, we are confident that our product and installation is not the cause of their water issue. The context of this review comes as a surprise to us since we have provided this customer with two (2) jobsite visits, conducted two (2) phone conversations, and have sent a two-page letter accompanied by pictures of their door installation detailing the cause of their water issue, which we believe stems from a retractable screen installation done by someone else after our doors were installed. The retractable screen installation has resulted in there being a track that was mounted on top of our threshold which is preventing proper drainage as it is designed to do, along with a gaping hole that was drilled into the sill that is allowing water to accumulate under the threshold. Unfortunately, the installation of the retractable screen by someone else has altered our threshold, and the hole that was drilled is allowing water to drain into the house.
We stand by our assessment of their water situation and the installation we provided, and continue to encourage the customer to have a professional waterproofing company inspect the situation to help determine the root of their problems. We are confident that they will deem our door installation to not be the cause of the problem.
