FOREIGN CAR OWNERS BEWARE! We had Dart Auto Glass come to our home to replace the windshield on our 2007 Volkswagon Passat. All appeared to be fine until the next morning when my wife left for work and had to return because it was raining and the windshield wipers were not working. I called Chris anticipating that he would remedy the situation by offering to send a technician to our home at his earliest convenience. I was shocked when he said that it was not their fault and that I should take the car to the dealership since Volkswagon had a bad reputation for faulty windshield wipers. After clarifying that they worked before Dart Auto Glass touched them and that it was unsafe to use the car , he did offer to send a technician to my wife's place of business to try to fix the problem. A week later, the technician met my wife in the parking garage at her place of business and spent 40 minutes trying to remove the wiper blades. He could not remove them. I had to take time out of my busy schedule to drive to the dealership across town, sit in their lounge for two hours waiting for them to look at it and diagnose the problem, and then drive back home, all totaling about 3 and a half hours. Per the dealership, the Dart Auto Glass technician broke the linkage that connects the windshield wiper blades to the wiper motor by using excessive force, but that did not matter to Chris at Dart Auto Glass, he still refused to take full responsibility for it. He did offer to install the linkage if I bought it though; what a deal!\r
