Shady business, stay away!!!! I called GV and told them my problem. Gear lube was leaking from a water drain hole on the lower unit. He seemed to know exactly what I was talking about, quoted me a price, but said he would have to check it out to be sure. That was fine with me so I dropped it off and told them to CALL ME FIRST BEFORE ANY REPAIRS WERE MADE. They left a message a couple days later that it was done. The bill was more than $50 more than his quote. When asked about it he tried to tell me he only quoted labor. Yeah, right. I politely told him that's why I wanted a call first. He then started getting upset and said he didn't have time to call everyone with prices. To top it all off after I pulled the boat 70 miles and put it in the water, I had no reverse. They also denied having anything to with that. (No surprise) I will NEVER go there again.
