I'm from out of town and was visiting my family and decided to get a tattoo. Called to see if I needed to make an appointment to go in and was told that I could go ahead and come in without an appointment. After driving across town I was informed that I would have to make an appointment after all. Not only that but that I had to leave a $20 deposit and it was made ""clear"" that if I let her know at least a day in advance that I wasn't going to be able to make it that I'd get my deposit back. After leaving I realized that if I got a tattoo there I'd probably end up with Hepatitis as well as a nasty ass tattoo so I decided against it and let her know a full day and a half in advance that I wouldn't be able to make my appointment. After calling her multiple times she finally called me back and informed me that deposits are non refundable and that it's ""only 20 dollars"" and that she had already spent my money and wouldn't be able to pay me back anyway.
