While the doctors at this office are wonderful, the office staff is terrible. The nurse that walked us back could not have appeared more bored and less patient with my child who did not understand how to do pulmonary function tests after her 12 second, mumbled directions. Never did she make eye contact with any of us. She simply typed everything I told her into a computer.
When I call the office with questions, it is clear that the nurses taking messages do not write down what you say. Both times I have called in, the doctor has called back and what was reported to him was completely false. Not even close to what I said. But, if you call in and ask to speak with a doctor, it is obvious that the nurses get insulted.
As much as I like our doctor, I won't go back because I hate having to deal with the staff. Hopefully we will be able to find another good allergist in the area.
