Our sweet Lucky 6/22/2012

We removed our pets from this practice back in 2005. Our little sheltie, Lady, had developed symptoms of Lyme Disease and we had brought her in for appointments for over a year because of these symptoms. We saw intern after intern, before finally, someone thought to test for Lyme. By then, it was too late, and Lady lived out her final two years in much arthritic pain.\r \r On June 18, 2012, we returned our only surviving sheltie, Lucky, to this practice because of the substandard care he received elsewhere. West Shore Animal Hospital discovered that Lucky had extensive liver damage, and two days later, he had to be euthanized .\r Mostly, the staff and veterinarians at West Shore were sympathetic and helpful, although Dr. Richards seemed to have a hard time figuring out that Lucky was a male, not a female. I don't think keeping a very sick dog alone in a cage all night, to lie in his vomit and urine, did much good for Lucky though.\r \r When we finally euthanized Lucky, it was near the end o more
