Brew BQ is a clean and spacious BBQ joint with some Corvallis flair.
The service is fast and friendly and the beer selection is good.
Now to the BBQ:
The pulled pork is tender and perfectly smoked, fantastic in their well-stuffed ""Po Boy"", the Wood Chipper.
The ribs were fall-off-the bone perfect with a fine smoky flavor.
Their 5-Bean Bake is tangy and makes me want to buy a gallon container to keep in the fridge.
The Green Chili is unique in my experience, made with hominy grits and potatoes. It has a fair amount of heat and a taste all its own. I bought an extra cup to take home.
I tried the sausage, which was also very good. It is firm and amazingly lean. It comes served with grilled peppers and is recommended.
The sauces run from traditional to the Blackberry Bourbon and the Root Beer BBQ. I tried each one and they are all winners.
In short, I have a new favorite BBQ place!
