If I could give them no stars I would. First, the morning of my first appointment with Dr. Abel, her office called me to talk about my surgery scheduled for the next day when I had never even been to her office before. Here, they had called me instead of another patient and when I arrived at the office they told me the other patient's full name and her age, which is against doctor-patient confidentiality. On top of that, Dr. Abel ordered an x-ray which usually takes about 15 min. I sat in the waiting area by myself for 45 minutes while the x-ray techs talked right around the corner about their every day lives and when they were finally done talking one popped around the corner and said I guess we're ready for you now. On my way back to the x-ray room the tech said ""By the way we ordered a pregnancy test since you are of age to be pregnant. I know the forms said that you have no chance of being pregnant but we just want to be sure."" They never asked me if they could order a pregnancy test and the tech was very rude about the whole thing. I will not be returning to see Dr. Abel or to any other doctor at Urology Associates.
