I've lived in Wellington for just two years and didn't know about this gem until my parents came to visit from the West Coast. Hilary's has delicious food, a varied menu, generous portions, fair prices, and fast, friendly service. The ambiance is no-frills, just a solid restaurant that smells like mom's kitchen on steroids! The home fries are scrumptious, eggs are cooked to perfection no matter what kind you order, the hash is out of this world, the orange juice tastes like the sun was squeezed into your glass. Even the toast is great!\r
My parents are planning another trip and they are looking forward to returning to Hilary's.
