Editorial review from Citysearch 6/28/2012

On April 23, 2012, we bought a used, but supposedly in good working condition, high capacity Amana washer for $ 362.10 from this company. They said they had a 90 day warranty. Now after the machine doesn't work, within the 90 day warranty, the owner says the warranty was ONLY on the motor itself. I had to pay $ 60 to have a repair person come up. He said the clutch and belt were bad and that is why the motor was making such a smell. He told me the company should give me a new machine. He promised he he would get back to me right away with a cost to fix it but at 4:30 I called the company and was told we had over filled the machine and that he wouldn't warranty anything and it would cost $ 298 to fix a machine we only spent $ 362.10 on. That lasted just over 60 days. I told him what his repair guy said and he called me a liar and hung up on me. I called back and asked if he would do anything for me and he said no.\r \r I would caution anyone even thinking about doing business with this company to think twice. I am not satisfied with his warranty or his willingness to please a customer. And you would think a washing machine that was repaired properly and offered for sale would last more than 60 days.\r \r And this owner says he has been in business 26 years and the Secretary of State says he was incorporated only 20 years ago. He claims to be a Christian and teach Sunday school and gives over $ 300 a month in food to the poor but he won't take care of his customers. Talk about living to the Letter of the Law not the Spirit of the Law. \r \r Be careful doing business with this company. more
