Dude took $25 (upfront fee) from me to look at a small engine. He called me three dayes later to say he had broken the engine down and determined it unfixable. He said, ""The fuel lines are like spaghetti. And, carb is gummed up from years of ethanol gas use."" Claimed I'd be wasting my money paying someone to fix it. \r

So, I decided to could figure out how to replace fuel lines and fix it myself. When I went to pick up the the engine, I asked him to show me the ""spaghetti lines"" so I could try to order them myself online. He began describing how to break down the casing (which was intact). I said, ""you didn't even look at it, did you?"" He admitted he never looked at it.
