We moved to St Helens 7 years ago and since there aren't too many restaurants to choose them we have tried them all several times. This one has been all over the place with several owner/operators, many menu changes and it has even closed down a few times. This latest incarnation seems to have got it right. The food, while a bit expensive for the area is quite good. A nice selection with some real standouts. The Salmon is very good, the fish and chips, great. steaks are choice and cooked well. The service has always been quick and friendly, it's nice to have a local place to enjoy and depend on. If you are in the area give it a try.
