I am giving this place four stars solely based on the food, which is excellent. The service is bad and the drinks are bad but it doesn't matter because they're so damned cheap. Hell, I can handle a funny aftertaste in a $2.00 (large) pina colada. And the food really is very good. I would say that this has the best Indian food I've had, and unlike most places the portions are actually reasonably large. It's also nice that they put descriptions of the items in their menu so you don't have to nag the waiter and sound like an idiot because you don't know the difference between Alu Saag and Chana Masala (if you do know the difference you probably eat out way too often, are Indian, or are just a snob). The servers are a little lax on actually getting you your check no matter how many times you ask, so you may have to go up and nag at the bar. Otherwise this place is very good.
