I took my dog Lucy to see Dr. Mike Vitucci for the first time because she could not get up from a laying position by herself. My other dog, Casey had jumped on the bed & landed on Lucy's leg. I thought for sure that major damage had been done to Lucy's knee & leg.I thought for sure that we were going to be talking about several thousand dollars worth of surgery when I walked in the door. He suggested I start Lucy on Slentrol a medication for assisting with weight loss in dogs. I started the medication because diet dog food by itself was not working.
