Very negative experience with Leonard's plumbing. We had them out to address some leaky toilet issues in November. Work seemed decent, although don't believe the ""we won't dirty up your place"" hype they have on their website. Our plumber made a mess and left the clean up for us. 6 months later, we're having the same issue. Same guy came to check it out, couldn't find any reason for the leak, and charged us $125 to tighten our tank bolts. We continued to have the problem, so they sent a second guy out to re set the seal. No charge for that, so they got that part right at least. Problem continued, but it was minor and the weekend, so I was going to let it sit over the weekend and call back on Monday
Sunday night, the toilet bowl cracked right where the tank bolt connects to the bowl. We figure that the first guy overtightened the bolt, and it was just matter of time and the right variable to pop it. I call them overnight and they arrange to have someone come out and check on things in the morning.
I grab a new toilet and leave it at home Monday morning, because I don't have a third day to spend waiting for them to do right what should have been done on the first day. I talk to the plumber as he's on his way over to my condo, and specifically tell him to call me after he's taken a look to go over with me what the plan is. I get no call, but a text from my wife later saying that he's nearly finished, and oh, by the way, the new tank has some micro fractures in it. Of course, it's installed now, so I probably can't return it to Home Depot.
I call the office, and ask to have a manager call me to talk about how I'm not happy with the service. I'm not yelling, I'm not even mad, I'm just tired of the BS. I get a call back from Leonard who is mad at ME. He's telling me how much money he's lost, how he's paying his guys and getting nothing, how we're scamming them, cussing at me, and basically telling me everything is my fault. Then he says ""I don't want to be rude"" and I finally interrupt him and tell him it's too late for that, and then he hangs up on me.
To make things even better, he calls me back later to tell me that he doesn't see how his guys could have caused the crack, and that we scammed him once again.
To be clear....I never asked him to do any work for free. I expected it, and when they re-set the seal, I figured we had a good, professional plumber. I see now they were just trying to get rid of us. Leonard has what I would call incompetent plumbers who, if they can't find out what the problem is, will just do something so they can justify their charge. And when problems do arise, they go on the offensive and blame the customer.
I find this company to be totally unprofessional and would not recommend them to anyone seeking any kind of professional service. I question the quality of their work, and find them to be totally lacking in any kind of customer service. If I could rate them a zero, I would.
