First time working with a restoration company. I foolishly left a chicken on the stove for 6 hours while I went to a movie and shopping. When I returned to the house it was blackened and had a horrid smell. After working with my insurance agent they suggest Sullivan's Restoration of Green Bay. They told me they handle a lot of local fires and do speedy and high quality work....After walking into my home and smelling the stench of burnt chicken I didn't care who I called as long as this problem went away. I called Sullivan's and they made it to my house in about an hour and a half. They explained to me that the smell I was smelling was the odor of a protein fire and how they were going to clean it. I politely said I don't care what they have to do just as long as I never had to smell this odor again. I asked for an approximate time of completion and they were unable to give a definite answer. They explained that every fire is different and though this answer wasn't my favorite eventually I accepted it and stayed at my sisters for a couple of days and let them do there job. I checked in regularly to make sure no one was stealing from me or doing anything I wouldn't approve of in my house. It ended up taking them 6 days to have the odor removed and any smoke residue completely cleaned up. I was told by my insurance company it could take a few weeks. I put on some rubber gloves and took out my white micro fiber cloth and decided to do a self inspection of my home. If I am paying for it I figure I better make sure it is to my standards...I was absolutely shocked at what I found. I spent a good 3 hours trying to find residue and smelling all around my home. Oddly the only aroma I could smell was my perfume. I decided to really test the limits of this company and moved my stove, refrigerator and microwave to find some residue that had to be left behind. However after searching and wasting my time I found that there was no evidence that a fire had ever occurred. I waved my white flag and thanked the crew that repaired my damages. I don't normally give out good reviews simply because I think in this world a lot of people tend to work at a lower standard than they could potentially work at. I did not have that type of experience with Sullivans. They were fast, professional, answered any and all questions I had, and were actually more than willing to walk through and allow me to check the quality of their work. Sullivan's has not only earned my respect as a business, but they have earned this positive review, and me telling my friends and family of the quality of their services. I don't know if anyone at Sullivan's checks these reviews, but thank you Sullivan's for fixing my mistake and humbling me to see that this world has not became as lackluster as I thought.
