Wonderful and Caring People! 5/3/2012

This 'review' has been a longtime coming but like they say 'better late than never.' We had our first dealing with Sweet Dreams back in 2005 when our beloved furbaby, Kyra, had to be put down. Then again in 2008 when we lost Tucker, our 'gentle giant' and the last time in 2010 when we lost Abby, our littliest angel. She being the latest 'visitor' at Small Dreams I will expound on her. Abby had an inoperable tumor on her spine and after MRIs, second/third opinions, we knew we didn't have long - but we decided to keep her as long as we could so even tho she couldn't walk (back end was paralyzed) we carried her out and one of out vets loaned us a ""doggie wheelchair"" so attaching her to that, made her 'free'...she ran around the yard with her littermate sister, Ebony, swam in the pool and did everything she wanted to do except walk on her own. When the time came to put her down, Bruce, the owner of Small Dreams, came to Farmville, VA and picked up Abby's ashes (she was cremated by another company unbeknownst to us and we were not happy at all), brought her all the way back to the crematory in Amelia, transferred her ashes into a cream colored porcelain urn to match Kyra's urn - Tucker's was black - and drove all the way back to Farmville and gave her to us...Abby was finally home. We still have her sister, Ebony and a rescue, Molly, but when the time comes, we will have none other than Sweet Dreams cremate them. They are without a doubt, the most compassionate and caring people I have ever encountered....the best at what they do and there isn't anyone better. Thank you Bruce for all you've done for us since 2005...Bob and Marie Strauch more
