I am a frequent visitor to The Promenade in coconut creek. As you walk into Ethos, there is an aura like no other restaurant in the area (possibly because the two restaurants that USED to be the best in The Promenade are directly across from World Of Beers... Not exactly a relaxed & romantic environment). The manager was as active in the restaurant as the runners. Every person that you came in contact with said, "hello" and smiled. The other diners were just as friendly; likely because the aura forces a feeling of relaxation & enjoyment upon you. I know this may sound like I am over-hyping it but I seriously missed the whole Knicks-Heat playoff game because I sat in that place, ate, drank, and talked to the bartender & other employees. I walked in there to get takeout, but once I sat down, I didn't get up for two hours.\r
Another thing to take into account is that I have been DYING for some authentic Greek food. Greek Salads from pizza shops have been the closest I could get. At this point, since I live down the street near Lyons & Sample, I will be a frequent visitor of this place. After you go here, I am confident you will feel the same.\r

By the way, I'm a 6'4'' 240lb black man & my girlfriend is white. Anyone who has been in an interracial relationship would understand that sometime ppl look at you funny or treat you differently around here. We didn't feel judged during one step through that restaurant. I usually don't include that in reviews, but I felt that might be necessary for someone out there to hear.\r

If you are in the area, give this restaurant a try!
