Signed up January of last year (2011), went once, didn't have time to keep going. Called to cancel my account in May or June of that year. They refused to cancel my account over the phone, so I cancelled my card.
I received a call from them three months ago about why I hadn't paid, I explained then that I never even used their gym and moved so I couldn't just hop by and cancel my membership. The lady at that time said understood and would take care of it. Today I receive a call from a rude little girl who threatens legal action against me if I don't pay them right then and there. Said she would be sending it to a collection agency and expected me to pay thousands of dollars in late fees (for a $25.00) a month account that had never been used.
Avoid these sleazy characters like the plague. Going to contact my lawyer and see if I can't sue them.
