After spending hundreds of dollars and four round trips to Ikea in an attempt to resolve an issue with one of their wardrobe cabinets, we are extremely upset and frustrated.\r

We put the wardrobe together and the factory-drilled holes splintered as soon as we lifted up the wardrobe to stand it upright. That required undoing hours of work, carrying a huge and very heavy load up and down the steps and out to the street to load, and another trip to Ikea to return the wardrobe. Once the new wardrobe had been put together, the sliding doors would not open and close properly. This caused way too much time on the phone with the help line (which didn't help at all) and another trip to Ikea. The manager, Jeff, was as mean as he could be, trying to pacify us but acting as though he did not care at all that we had spent hundreds of dollars, several trips, time and aggravation and were ending up with an apparently defective product. Last time we'll be buyinig at Ikea. The employees are helpful but while Ikea brags about its environmental care, it's customer care for problems is nonexistent.
