I lived in a 2BR on Ellsworth Avenue for two years -- the James Manor Complex. From the outside, the building seems like a strange fit for the Shadyside neighborhood -- It looks more like an Atlantic City boardwalk hotel. But the inside of the building was surprisingly nice.
The apartment was well-kept, the management staff was helpful, and the location was great. I have not seen many of their apartments, but I would definitely recommend the James Manner.
