A-1 picked up our Toshiba flatscreen to see if they could fix a black line going down the screen. The TV worked fine but the line was annoying at times. After a few days we called to see if they were finished with any repairs. The lady that answered the phone said the TV was working fine and that they have had it running and no problems (hmm!). She advised someone would call us. When the repairman called he said it would cost $600 to fix. The TV was 3years old and we didn't want to spend that amount to repair it. We advised we would pick up the TV (our first mistake, because the fee we paid upfront included bringing the TV back).
We picked up the TV on a Friday. On Monday I called and asked why the TV had lines going through and in the corner it looked like it had been damaged (a spider, similar to a windshield that is hit). I emailed pictures of what we were getting and A-1 said it had been hit with something and it was broke. He advised it was ok when it left there shop. Unfortunately, it's my word against theirs. All I know is they put the TV in my vehicle and we came home, put it in the room and hooked it up. We did NOT hit it in any way.
My suggestion for anyone using this company is to MAKE SURE they turn the TV on BEFORE you leave their shop so you know it is working. Also, make them return it (don't be a nice guy) since you paid for it and let them hook it up and show you it works!!
I would not recommend nor use this company again!!
