A Quaint Blast from the Past 5/21/2012

Chef-O-Nette is a small eatery in what appears to be a rather upscale neighborhood. Don't let this influence you on the prices of the faire here. Decked in 1950's decor reminiscent of family diners (as opposed to malt shops), the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. I discovered this place when I needed to go to the pharmacy on the other end of the center. And am I very happy to have found it. I plan to go back again some time and try the signature sandwiches. The meal I had was decent, it was a veal parmigiana. It was decently portioned and presented well. The sauce could have used a little improvement, but it was still pretty good. The restaurant has eat in, carry-out, and drive-thru options. It's been touted as one of the first restaurants in the country to have a drive-thru window. more
