Had a problem with a DLP and the dreaded white dots issue. Called Precision TV repair and explained the problem. I was told that it would be a 75 dollar service fee and to hold while they found the cheapest place to find the chip to fix it. Was quoted a price and agreed to the service. The came out immediatley and disassembled my tv and took the lighting engine to their shop. It was at this time that the price of the chip mysteriously went up by 80 dollars. Next they repeatedly told me they would call and set up a time to rreinstall the part. They would call at 2:00 and say we will be there in 20 minutes. Sorry but I am at work. There response was ""this has never been a problem with anyone else"". Really, no one else is at work at 2:00? This happened multiple times. Finally they sent me a text message after midnight to inform me they would be at my house ""around 2:00"" the next day so I needed to be home. I had my father in law meet them. They installed the part and charged me an additional 5% on the entire bill because my father in law did not have cash and paid by credit card. I would not reccomend this company to anyone.
