I have been shopping here for the past year and can say I am rather pleased with the quality, selection and prices they offer. Their fresh smoked meats and sides are delicious and will keep me coming back. The beef brisket is just amazing.
I cannot give above a 2 star rating due to the attitudes of the employees... The attitude of the staff anywhere can make or break a place, in my opinion.
There is a younger lady, cashier, that is always pleasant and friendly. The other cashier I have interacted with is always rude and short mannered. I have gone out of my way to be polite to her, but cannot report a single positive interaction with her in a year.
Almost every time someone is stocking the shelves, I have been made to feel as if I am in their way and have gotten short grunting responses or negative looks from when I try to speak to them.
It really is sad to me that such a great shop is full of such negativity... I understand people have bad days, but this a place of business and taking you negativity out on the patrons is not the way to go.
As I said the quality of the food/produce will keep me coming back, but the attitude will keep me looking for a replacement.
