I was not out for revenge with my ex. I just need an advocate or someone to provide guidance and education about my options.
He did not return one phone call and I was unable to talk with him until 6pm the day before my 9 am case.
He was balled over to hear my ex would settle out of court after I showed him the email. Had he called me once or listened to our initial conversation he would have known. But, why? he makes more money in court.
I collected my things and went to court by myself. he told me he would give my money back. when i tried to collect he had his secretary (laughing while telling me) i owed him 50$! I gave him 1500$.
I make less then 50000 a year and am in grad school and raising a child.
His rising star lawyer awards are given by peers..not clients. my ex had an expensive veteran of the court and it seems he pleased her not his client.
i know i will never see my money or be vindicated. all I can do is work to give him 1500$ of honest reviews so others will be warned.
