I have a 1996 Dodge Neon with >110k miles on it. It's actually been a nice, dependable vehicle for me. I do most of the preventative maintenance, but there are some things I leave to others.
My first visit to Greg's was in 2008 to replace my timing belt and water pump. Completely satisfied.
Second visit was in 2011 to diagnose an intermittently working speedometer/odometer. Was happy that Greg was willing to look at repairing the circuit board instead simply replacing the part. Initial fix didn't work, but they followed up with another fix for a very minimal charge and the 2nd repair has worked ever since.
3rd visit was in 2012 to flush brake & power steering fluids, as well as diagnose my AC. Greg diagnosed the issue, replaced an o-ring and it works great so far.
Bottom line is that Greg provides a very good value. I'm able to get my car in and repaired quickly. In the 2nd visit he took the time to fix the issue for minimal charge when the first attempt didn't resolve the issue. He understands that with older cars, we often don't want to spend much and is willing to dig into things instead of just replacing parts. I recommend him for repairs to keep your older car in good running condition.
