Great food and by far our top choice for Mexican cuisine... Unfortunately, like others have mentioned in previous reviews, our experience with our waitress was awful and outweighed the quality of food or enjoyment we got from being there, hence the 1 star.
During our last trip we had an incident where our waitress, Toni, threw a fit and embarrassed our party by screaming at me in front of a packed restaurant for not tipping her for her poor service and rude, impatient behavior all throughout while we were eating. She continued to scream as I walked out the door about how ""she only made $2 an hour"".
Afterward, I contacted the manager who actually seemed like a nice lady. She assured me she'd deal with Toni and that we wouldn't have a problem with her again. We've decided to give On The Border another shot, however, if we see Toni working there after her shocking, inexcusable outburst, we're going to press matters further by contacting the BBB in addition to getting in touch with other channels.
