The $8.00 catfish sandwich was a soggy dark fishy piece of fish on a cold hamburger bun. It is not often I complain about food in a restaurant, some is better than others but this I could not even eat. The waitress did not come back to see how our food was until we were almost ready to go, and she said all catfish is fishy (I know better) and they can't cut out all the dark greasy meat on the filet because they buy them frozen. Also, she said if you want your fried fish crisp, then you have to order it extra crispy there. As far as the place, it was attractive, and I loved the river view, but they need to improve their food and menu. Aside from the quality of the filet, I personally think for an 8.00 sandwich, it should be served on bread that is NOT a cheap cold hamburger bun. A toasted piece of french bread? or something else to justify the price.
