Until last night I had been going to Fuerte Animal Hospital with my 2 cats and 2 dogs for a couple years. But when my doberman became ill and refused to eat they couldn't see me unless I wanted to pay $100 for them to ""fit"" me in with their other appointments.
Not only that but whenever you decline a recommended procedure they make you initial next (example, teeth cleaning starting cost $400) to it as if you are some ""bad"" pet owner. Getting shots, check-ups and having your animals spayed & neutered apparently isn't enough for them, they want you to buy pain killers and collars etc., etc., failing to understand not everyone has hundreds of dollars to spend there every visit.
Not once have I met Dr. Brian Davis but he's real good at charging lots of money.
I'm sorry, but as a responsible pet owner I prefer a vet who cares about my pets because that's what I'm paying him to do, not treat them as an assembly line.
Anyway I found a WONDERFUL place that was able to see me right away and help my dog! It's called Lemon Grove Veterinary hospital. Nothing fancy but an EXCELLENT vet who cares about you and your pet and doesn't rake you over the coals and empty out your pocket book. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because you cannot choose no stars.
