We went to BJ's last month at the metro mall. I have never in my life parked in a handicap spot. All the blue spots that are marked are right in front of the down stairs entrance. We parked in the first spot in the main section. It was all painted in yellow with not one sign. After we finished shopping we return to our car and found a $180 ticket. Everyone who parked in the first spots received these tickets. Everyone was walking around confussed that the spots were not marked. Apparently DOT gives you tickets for spots that are not marked. We called BJ's and we called metro mall who said you have to come to the mall during working hours to discuss this. Who can take off from work for this. We fought it with DOT and even sent pictures to them. They said we don't know where those pictures are from and told us to pay the ticket. I will never return to this mall. Obviously they have a scam going on with the city.
