My son has some social challenges. He has some Autistic tendencies, being a teenager he as learned over the years to not let that get in his way. However when is comes to dentists his fears are amplified and his autistic tendencies gets worse.
First arriving at this office the lady at the desk seemed polite at first. However she talked non stop, lecturing my son and asking him question after question without providing him time to answer.
When she took him into the exam room, she was still lecturing my son. One way my son has found to take his mind off his anxieties is to play games on his cell phone. She raised her voice and tone at my son to either put his cell away, put it in the other room or she would take it away, My son then proceeded to attempt to explain why he was on his cell, she interrupted him and became more rude and disrespectful. Upon hearing how she was talking to my son I said, "" please don't talk to my son that way, that's not OK"". I went to sit down and she continued to speak to my son in a way no stranger should ever talk to another person's child. I told her to stop I didn't like it and then said "" this is not going to work"" I told my son ""Lets go"". She then followed us becoming even more irate almost to the point of me feeling that me and my son were not safe there, she was yelling at me saying ""If you would have talked to your son that way and more then maybe he wouldn't have all these fears and anxieties"" after that I turned to her and said ""F*** you he IS MY son"".
I would never recommend this place to parents who have children with or without any kind of special needs. The treatment to me and my son was horrible!
I only put one star because I could not publish my review without selecting one. I wish there was an option for negative 5 stars.
