I had been wanting to go Speed Dating for a while and also had friends interested in going as well. I had then changed my mind.
I then saw a Groupon and reached out to my friends asking if then want to go. Hoping they would say no but of course they said yes. We went ahead and bought them.
Excited that we were finally going to go scheduling was a bit of a problem because they sell out really quick and getting 4 schedules to match was tough as well.
We finally had a date scheduled and were ready to go. The day came and I wanted to back out because even though I didn't know what to expect.
The one we went to was at the Stone Rose. It was really nice there. The only down side was that it was outside. It was really cold out there. I wish it could have been inside. There were heat lamps though.
Time went by really fast went it got started. I got to sit next to my friends so were able to be moral support for each other. It was great to meet new people and I would definitely do it again.
I didn't get any matches but I am glad I went. It was an experience that I will remember.
One of my friends did get a match so we will see what happens.
If you are thinking about going. Go and have fun and meet new people. Don't have any expectations. Just go and have fun.
The hosts were really nice and helpful.
