Justin R Barbera Got Our Kids Back in School Our elementary school is a stout-hearted little educational facility in one of the less advantaged parts of town. In fact, vandalism has been common and an ongoing problem for local officials. Last weekend, someone struck again, this time targeting the school. Windows were broken and some kind of explosive device was thrown into the office area. Both police and fire crews responded, although not as quickly as we would have liked. By the time fire was extinguished, the principal's, vice-principal's and the secretary's offices as well as the teachers' lounge were severely damaged. Justin R Barbera was on the scene almost immediately after receiving a call for help. Keeping the children in school was one issue, but restoring the documents and equipment within the offices in the building was another important consideration. Fortunately, their company specializes in solving just those kinds of predicaments. They brought in special equipment and cleaning products and were able to save much of what would otherwise have been thrown away, for which we were all very grateful. In addition to restoring documents and salvaging costly office equipment, the crew was also busy repairing the structural damage. Once the openings were secured and boarded up, clean-up began. Fires are so messy and water damage from the fire hoses only compounds the destruction. However, once the space was emptied, they started in earnest to rebuild and restore in the very shortest amount of time possible, another quality Justin R Barbera is known for. Interior walls, flooring, and windows had to be replaced. The principal and his office staff were able to relocate in an unused classroom and school resumed within a week. The actual finished job took another 5 weeks, but the school was able to complete its school year close to the original schedule. We were so glad that Justin R Barbera helped us through this difficult time, and they said they were delighted to be a part of such an important project. I guess where kids are concerned, every project is important.
