Cowgirl Creamery has one of their cheesemaking facilities within their Tomales Bay Foods retail site. Peak thru the window to see the cheesmakers ladling milk or cutting curd for their Red Hawk and Pierce Point Cheeses, which use milk from local dairies including Staus.Or pre-book one of the Cowgirls free Cheese 101 60 minute tours in advance every Friday at 11:30am.
Onsite is also mini-marketplace with a cornucopia of locally grown and made products like wines from Pt Reyes, Bellwether Farm's chevre and ricotta, farm grown produce and sandwiches, salads and desserts made onsite.
