I started going to Smita's for the eyebrow threading because it was the closest place to me that offered that service. The girl who did my eyebrows wasn't really great at it and it was painful but I had a limited amount of time for salon visits. On a Saturday I called to ask for their hours on that day and the staff person told me they were open until 7pm. When I got to the salon at 6:30 they were completely closed and the hours posted said they were only open until 5pm on Saturdays. I decided to be forgiving and read that they would be open until 7pm on the following Monday. Again I went to the salon at 5:30 on Monday and AGAIN they were completely closed. I was very upset because there were no posted changes in hours and because of other circumstances that prevented me from making an appointment or spending very much time away from home. When I called to leave a message on the answering machine the hours were stated again and said they were open until 7pm on Monday. I left a message explaining all of these things and that I would no longer be spending money at the salon. The next morning I was awoken by an angry phone call from Smita herself rudely telling me that she didn't appreciate my message. She basically chewed me out and wouldn't stop talking to let me explain in more detail why I was so upset. I completely gave up on explaining anything else to her. Due to her behavior on the phone I was 100% sure that I would never spend another dime at her salon or recommend her to anyone. She is not the best businesswoman and doesn't know how to treat customers at all especially when she was the one who made the mistake.
