Our family drove 2hrs. to Molly's Place. We were blessed with adopting a Coonhound that was blind. He had been a resident at Molly's & also fostered with a family that volunteer's at Molly's. The people who work at this rescue truly care about the cats & dogs they have. The point of Molly's is to save as many dogs & cats the can while finding good homes for them. If these animals were being adopted for such a ""cheap"" price then wouldn't you be concerned as to who is really taking the animals for the right reasons....We paid for our sweet big dog because he had his shots, chipped, fixed & was with people who loved him. The folks that have less then great reviews of Molly's need to see that no rescue org. can be perfect. These people are working around the clock to drive & pick up dogs that are going to be put-down & feeding & bathing & interacting with the animals. A normal SPCA has the animals with no interaction & in a ""sterile"" not so warm situation for these poor unwanted animals. Yes, you have to potty train your dog when they come home, Hello, that is called part of pet ownership! To truly understand why the people at Molly's do what they do you need to love animals & know they are doing the best they can to give these animals the love they deserve.....I would return to Molly's over & over. They gave us a wonderful dog who is part of our family!
