Be afraid, be very afraid. Dr. Mandel is an excellent surgeon, but he is more businessman than doctor. Dr. Mandel blatantly misrepresented the outcome of my surgery to sell his services. After a very disappointing outcome from my surgery, I went to see a different doctor and was told that I was not the ""perfect candidate"" Dr. Mandel claimed I was.
The office is very nice, including the massage chairs, but it's all part of the sales pitch. The office is a factory -- don't expect Dr. Mandel to spend much time really getting to know your individual situation. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor that's focused on providing quality care and not a doctor that's focused on building a marketing machine to make as much money as possible off anyone he can.
