I walked into the middle of their shop and watched the two workers for a while. I was surprised that no one would see or greet a new customer. I felt like I was invisible. No big deal, but not very professional. After about a minute, a third person came out and I showed him my driver side seat that needed the leather replaced. This person, surprisingly, showed no interest whatsoever in repairing the seat. He said I should consider getting a seat cover for it. What? The shop with a big ?Leather Experts? sign in their window, and the shop that says in their online ad: ?Maitland Auto Upholstery, Inc. also provide you the expert?s touch when it comes to auto leather seat upholstery repairs?, this guy is telling me to go to Wal-Mart and get seat covers? Crazy. Then when I asked him the price he would charge to fix the seat, I was taken aback when he quoted almost double what another place quoted me. This was surprising considering the glowing reviews customers gave this place regarding their moderate pricing. I left the place shaking my head.
